ANON KANON New Vocaloid will be Released on 2014

On March 3, 2014, Yamaha Corporation will release twin school girl: Anzu-on trione (Anonkanon) as Vocaloid 3. They are identical High School Twins. Kanon is the older sister and Anon is the younger girly. Kanon is the strong voice. In contrast, Anon is a tender voice that carefully delivers her feelings. They use their voices to transmit your thoughts through song. These somewhat husky heartfelt voices can be used not only for rock, but also dance and fast tracks or flashy songs a.k.a they support a large variety of music genres. Anons favorite person is Kanon and is not really great at much but history whereas kanon is great at p.e. and math; they both love bread and dancing.

antiX 16 1 Berta Cáceres released and Avaialable For Download

A new version of antiX, a Debian-based distribution featuring a simple desktop built around several lightweight and rarely-used window managers

antiX is a fast, lightweight and easy-to-install Linux live CD distribution based on Debians "Stable" branch for x86 compatible systems. antiX offers users the "antiX Magic" in an environment suitable for old computers. The goal of antiX is to provide a light, but fully functional and flexible free operating system for both newcomers and experienced users of Linux. It should run on most computers, ranging from 256 MB old PIII systems with pre-configured swap to the latest powerful boxes. 256 MB RAM is recommended minimum for antiX. The installer needs minimum 2.7 GB hard disk size. antiX can also be used as a fast-booting rescue CD. A special Xfce edition made in collaboration with the MEPIS Community called "MX" is also available.

• Not a lot! BUT we have included 2 excellent new applications: live-kernel-updater and live-usb-maker.
• Debian 8.7 (jessie), but systemd-free! And it fits on a cd! Great LiveUSB features!

• antiX-full (c695MB) -4 windows managers - IceWM(default), fluxbox, jwm and herbstluftwm

• antiX-core-libre (c190MB) - no X. Just enough to get you connected (wired) and ready to build. Uses a libre kernel.
• Customised 4.4.10 LTS kernel with fbcondecor splash
• antiX has been designed to be fast, light on resources and flexible.
• Install it to hard drive, run it live from a stick or run as a frugal install on a partition.

Apache PhotArk M2 incubating released

The Apache PhotArk team is pleased to announce the release of Apache PhotArk M2-incubating.

Apache PhotArk will be a complete open source photo gallery application including a content repository for the images, a display piece, an access control layer, and upload capabilities. The idea is to have a rigid design for the content repository with a very flexible display piece. The images in the content repository will be protected with granular access control.

PhotArk gallery currently allows you define and manage a set of albums hosted local into the content repository and provides a default web UI for album navigation. PhotArk also supports creating and deploying your own photo gallery into Google AppEngine cloud infrastructure.
