Apple rumored to want to acquire German TV maker Loewe

According to AppleInsider Apple is currently engaged in talks to acquire German TV maker Loewe. Loewe usually creates minimalistic TV sets that work work well with the designs usually created by Jonathan Ive. AppleInsider states that Apple offered 87.3 million euros (almost $113 million) which is more than Loewes market cap of little under 60 million euros. Loewe currently has about 1,000 employees but generated a loss of 10.5 million euros last year. Loewe has also been working on high end AirSpeakers to work with Apples wireless AirPlay technology. <Update> A Loewe spokesperson denied the rumors on Sunday, stating "there is nothing to it". </Update>
